The manufacturing of orodispersible films
Solution preparation
The first step is to prepare a homogeneous solution. The active ingredients and excipients are added to a liquid solution. This solution is then stirred and maintained at a controlled temperature to ensure perfect homogeneity.
Pouring
The resulting solution is then poured onto a support using a dedicated machine to form a film. The thickness of the film is precisely controlled to guarantee a uniform dose of active ingredients.
Drying
Once cast, the film strip passes through a drying room to allow the strips to rest. Temperature and humidity must be carefully controlled to avoid any degradation of the product and active ingredients.
Cutting and packaging
Once dried, the orodispersible films are cut into individual sheets according to the required dimensions. They are then packaged in dispensaries for better preservation.
