Properties
Given that skin conditions are particularly common, accounting for between 20% and 75% of reasons for consultation in general veterinary practice (Haritha et al., 2022), Skin & Hair Chews provide a targeted nutritional solution to support the skin and coat of dogs and cats.
The formula is based on a synergy of active ingredients recognised for their role in skin health and coat quality:
• L-cystine, a sulphur-containing amino acid essential to the structure of keratin and therefore of the coat
• Biotin, a vitamin involved in the metabolism of the skin and coat
• Zinc, a trace element contributing to the maintenance of skin integrity
• Copper, involved in pigmentation and coat quality
• Type I and III collagens, structural proteins essential for supporting the skin matrix
